A 16th Century painting of Peter
and Paul depicts these two great champions of Christ who suffered much
persecution as they went throughout the Roman Empire preaching the good
news Jesus of Nazareth is Lord and King and offering Kingdom mercy and
grace to all who would receive them. Peter was the spokesman for the 12
Apostles of the Lamb. Paul was the arch-type of the ascension-gift
apostle. Today the risen Christ continues to give ascension-gift
apostles to minister apostolic grace to His saints.
